Who is Rytr?
What is Content Generation and “AI”
The world is changing fast right now and the way people accomplish tasks to get their jobs done is made easier with technology every day. Not only is this apparent in digital marketing, but automation (self checkout!) is making people not have to do all of the tasks that we need to compete to operate our business. Some of these automations though are key because they free you up to do the stuff you probably take more enjoyment out of than mundane busy work. For me one of these busy work muscle tightening chores is writing.
People have been battling to get unique, solid quality content onto their pages and marketing copies forever. Google caught onto some of the gamification of their algorithm by SEOs of all kinds, going through various updates to their algorithm to prevent keyword stuffing, content spinning, etc.
Well it seems that there is a new frontier where this tedious task is made awe inspriingly simple by some of the Natural Language Processing capabiilties out there. Basically the processing power is enough now that we can train it with so much data, that it can get very clever with putting together sentences and content. Especially if you feed it good data to start with, the possiblibiltes are endless.
How is Salesforce used with Unique Marketing Copy or Unique Content?
Enter stage left for Rytr to be coupled with Salesforce, you can really have unlimited potential in terms of content creation in a split second at any time. It’s a major disruptor in terms of how the old content copy was acquired and I feel like I got my foot in the door early somehow. Writing something unique that is keyword focused and could be considered high quality or high converting copy , as bland as it can be, is essential to google recognizing you and readers getting value out of what you write. That is where Rytr Salesforce Connector gives the option to open up the custom Rytr-Salesforce integration app we put together via a global action for quick and easy access.
For people who have to send emails all day, whether it be Sales, Support, or Operations checking on whatever type of customers you may have, the ability to not have to sit there and worry about the content and being focused and objective is a pain. So you can flip up the Rytr Salesforce tool, and choose from 30 use cases to get the ideas flowing. It will ask you for a keyword or a premise to the Content it generates, and you start to see quickly it’s very receptive to a topic filled seed sentence. Can’t think of one those? That’s fine too… we preload some ideas to be selected from search results metadata that can lead to an exponential source of content.
Why Does Salesforce not Do This Themselves?
They kind of are. It’s not for a lack of effort with them sometimes but their Product base is so big that it’s currently mixed in with all of the Marketing Cloud and Einstein stuff, while SO many use cases exist for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud alone that I’m looking to fill that niche of SF customers who don’t use Marketing Cloud, but could use a Content tool such as this
Why Rytr?
I was fascinated by this while I dove into researching it and making the tool, and ended up trying a lot of these. Using simple configuration and outputting something that is usable is something this product does consistently. Some I would start to notice the chinks in the armor with other services where it sounded pretty robotic, but Rytr with a little automation of Titles and Blog sections was putting together interesting to read blogs.
They have the best output of any one of these tools I have tried, and I have tried 10+ by now. Rytr uses the openAi library that seems to be the tech driving all of these new AI inventions, so the magic it spits out is not unexplained phenomenons, but it still is very new in digital marketing. Given just a few inputs , such as language , tone , creativity levels, and a few others, Rytr is a multi dimensional tool that allows for a significant amount of permutations of inputs to get a diverse unique set of outputs.
They also were the first one I ran into that had an easy to access API , with some no-frills documentation that equated to quick and easy setup.
Use Case to Personalize AI Content Generation as a Concept
Here is an example:
Let’s say I need some SEO meta text for title and descriptions in my blog. Rytr has a use case for this and asks for a keyword Input as a required field. Given this input I can select one of twenty or so “tones”, and get unique SEO meta text on demand at scale.
You can make it less SEO -centric and think of it as Product Descriptions and Excerpts as well that may go out on invoices and such.
An Overly Digital Marketing Use Case
I don’t know about you but when I am looking at a WordPress blog and am notified from an SEO tool that I have duplicate titles and descriptions for pages , or none at all, I dread the thought of hand typing a bunch out, hoping they are unique, hoping I focused on the right keyword, and is just a chore. With Rytr, this can be handled automatically for you and the integrity of your keyword focus is maintained by the app making your work as simple as clicking “generate”. The system already knows what keywords are our core keywords, so we can pull on this information programmatically and feed these inputs to Rytr and take any manual process out of this busy work. Why stop there? With all of the data we have in Salesforce, this concept of generating metadata probably has implications for Custom Objects and other client facing items that may need to stay unique and fresh.
Global Action for Quick Content or Custom Implementations
I wanted to get a little utility out to show the power of the tool and the convenience, but understand there may be more custom use cases as well that may not be so turnkey. If you want to explore those, I would love to schedule a call to talk through your technical business problem or idea and see what we can do. We are currently working on some directly defined features such as Product Description and WordPress / CMS integrations that can work with products in Woo Commerce as well.
A really low on quality content product catalog being spruced up with 50 unique paragraphs in the tone that fits your audience is something that Google will reward you for in Search, and customers in their actions.
